2017 SLAA Camp

Courage to Change
The Wellington Wednesday fellowship is organising a weekend camp on behalf of the Wellington SLAA Intergroup to gain strength, hope and new insight into our recovery, by sharing our recovery experiences. This is a perfect opportunity to think on our recovery in a beautiful native bush setting.

The camp will start with a light meal from 6pm Friday 24th November and conclude at 2pm Sunday 26th November 2015. (Beware that the traffic out of town is busy on Friday nights.)

We will stay at Riverslea Sanctuary on the Otaki River, which is a bit over one hour drive north of Wellington. The address is 733 Otaki Gorge Road, RD2, Otaki 5582, phone 06 364 3388. Check out their website at http://riverslearetreat.co.nz.

The accommodation offers a variety of rooms sleeping 2, 3 up to 8 persons. You will need to bring a sleeping bag, and/or linen & bedding. There are no public phones at Riverslea so you will need a mobile phone for incoming and outgoing calls. Telecom mobiles have a little more coverage than Vodafone mobiles. Riverslea also offers WiFi.

The theme of the camp is "Courage to Change"
